In March 2019, Ammar Salehi, the son of Major General Ataullah Salehi, the former commander of the army, was sentenced to ten years in prison and permanent deprivation of government services on the charge of assisting in disrupting the economic system.
He was released from prison a few days ago after serving about three years of his sentence and while he was absent and escaped from prison for more than 150 days like Mustafa Mirsalim's son.
