(Born 1948 in Isfahan - Died 22 March 2003 in Nowshahr) was an Iranian economist, politician and university lecturer, who was the head of the Central Bank of Iran in 2 different periods, from 1981 to 1986 and from 1994 to 2003. He was also the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance in the sixth government.
