On November 1, 1329, Khorshidi Mohammad Hossein Luqman Adham nicknamed Luqman al-Dawlah, a doctor and the first dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Tehran University, passed away. He was born in Tabriz and his father and two other brothers were doctors. Luqman al-Dawla was also the special physician of Ahmad Shah and Reza Shah.
