Reliable information provided to Abdi Media shows that Mehdi Yarahi, a singer and composer, has faced two charges.
The first is accused of "producing, sending, distributing and publishing obscene and vulgar works through computer and telecommunication systems" and "encouraging people to commit corruption and prostitution" and is in prison under temporary detention.
The other is "propaganda against the regime" which has been ordered to be secured, but due to the temporary arrest order in the first case, there is practically no possibility of release if secured./Abdi Media
