The power pigeons have isolated some presidential candidates and are guiding them!

An excerpt from Alami's speech in the presence of former President Mohammad Khatami describes the "pigeons of power" who, during every election cycle, gather around certain presidential candidates with the hope of acquiring the wheat of Rey and the dates of Baghdad. By channeling and isolating these candidates, they bring about the same fate for the people and the country that has been experienced over the past 45 years.

The less a politically savvy individual is acquainted with the relationships of power and political factions, especially these "quick power pigeons," the more easily they can be isolated and shaped by them, and they will be trapped by them for the duration of their political lives. In fact, these professional power-seekers, lacking any real conviction, gather around certain candidates purely for the aroma of kebab, seeking power and wealth, isolating the candidate, and shaping them according to their desires. Observing these individuals, who cannot even stand to see people like me and feel a deep sense of danger, I have become somewhat disillusioned with the first ring of candidacy where different expectations are held. Soon, I will detail my observations and encounters.

These political maneuverers want to use people like me as a launching pad for their own power, while they themselves...

The "pigeons of power" are those who see no significant difference between individuals like Larijani, Rouhani, Khatami, Mousavi, Moien, Pezeshkian, Rafsanjani, Karrubi, and even Qalibaf. They regard all of them as a means to their own power and wealth, gathering around whoever they feel has a higher chance of winning, and once they attain power, they also benefit from the revolution’s table. They are the same people who paint sparrows and sell them to the public as canaries.

In the 2009 election, in which I was also a presidential candidate, before the names of the approved candidates were announced, these pigeons, suspecting the victory of Mr. Mir-Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karrubi—may God protect both—had no real belief in either of them. They generally surrounded them only for the aroma of kebab. They claimed with full capacity here and there that Alam is an unknown figure with no social base, while simultaneously spreading rumors that the regime had brought Alam in to undermine Mousavi's votes!

After my disqualification was confirmed, these same individuals persistently contacted me through various means during the campaign, desperately seeking support for their desired candidate.

Additionally, initially, Hojjatoleslam Karrubi contacted me and expressed kindness. Afterward, Engineer Mousavi called in the presence of some friends and, lamenting my disqualification, said, "You were one of the most prominent candidates of this round who was disqualified, and I am genuinely sorry about that." I asked him if he truly believed what he was saying. While expressing more kindness and referring to my past experiences in the parliament and prior, including in the Salam newspaper, he affirmed it wholeheartedly. I asked, "Then why did your affiliated media, like state TV, which announced the names of all candidates, avoid mentioning mine? You also didn’t make the slightest reference or protest regarding the disqualification of this prominent individual, so what guarantee do we have that you will defend citizens' rights after coming to power?" He replied that he would be giving a speech in Isfahan in two days and would certainly mention my name and protest my disqualification there.

... Later, I heard that some of those who, in anticipation of the wheat of Rey, were prominently present in Mr. Pezeshkian's campaign headquarters had prevented him from doing so!

However, Mr. Karrubi, who is a noble and knowledgeable person whom I greatly admire, publicly mentioned my name in those days on News Network and firmly protested against my illegal disqualification. Nevertheless, despite my respect for both gentlemen and the persistent insistence of mutual friends, I did not support anyone and did not participate in the elections.
