The Central Bank of Iran, through Circular No. 04/8382 dated 04/09/2025, notified the amendment of the "Executive Directive for Opening Rial Deposit Account for Foreign Persons" to the country's banking network.
In accordance with the provisions of this directive, the possibility of opening a variety of Rial deposit accounts in the form of: Rial Savings Interest-Free Deposit Account, Rial Current Interest-Free Deposit Account, and Rial Term Investment Deposit Account for natural and legal persons and their conditions has been announced.
