According to the Executive Directive of the Regulations Governing Currency/Bank Documents and Anonymous Securities Accompanying the Passenger:
The entry of foreign currency, bank documents and anonymous securities in a total amount of up to ten thousand (10,000) euros or its equivalent in other currencies is allowed, and the import of foreign currency, bank documents and unnamed securities in total exceeding ten thousand (10,000) euros or its equivalent in other currencies is not allowed.
Exit of foreign currency, bank documents and anonymous securities by any traveler abroad through other ports, up to a total of five thousand (5,000) euros or its equivalent in other currencies from the air borders and up to two thousand (2,000) euros or its equivalent in other currencies from land, rail and sea borders is allowed, and the expenditure of foreign currency/bank documents and anonymous securities in excess of the said amount is allowed It is not.
Carrying more than 5,000 euros of foreign currency is subject to the rules and regulations governing the passenger's currency and requires a declaration to the customs.

Failure to comply with the above provisions will be subject to the punishment stipulated in the Anti-Smuggling of Goods and Currency Act of 2013.
