Chairman of the Parliament's Economic Commission: How can we have foreign currency for car assembly companies but we do not have foreign currency for car imports?

8 billion dollars of foreign exchange is allocated annually to the automotive industry, but people are deprived of using high-quality cars. The problem is the way foreign exchange resources are allocated.

The annual assembly of 3,000 cars cannot be called a car industry at all. How can there be foreign exchange for importing assembly parts, but not for importing cars?
