Dr. Jasbi said, in the last meeting with the members of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, they had serious criticisms and said that they would add a group to its members, and Dr. Mein did not participate because he was worried about facing the leadership's objection to the state of the universities.

Mr. Salah Zawawi, the Palestinian ambassador, came. He said that the cooperation between Christian Zionism and Jewish Zionism is serious and the quadrilateral plan, which is supposed to be implemented in three stages, does not benefit Palestine and is aimed at buying time for Israel, and the Arab leaders have also been deceived.

Dr. [Abdullah] Jasbi, [President of the Islamic Azad University] came. He said, [the leadership] had serious criticisms in the last meeting with the members of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution and said that they would add more members to it, and Dr. [Mustafa] Moin, [the Minister of Culture and Higher Education] did not participate because he was worried about facing the leadership's objection to the state of the universities.  

Today, a car carrying students of Islamic Azad University fell into the valley near Bandar Lange and unfortunately 15 students and professors were killed and 17 people were injured.  I was upset.  

Mr. [Siavash Zargar] Yacoubi, our new ambassador in India, came for consultation.  He talked about the progress of negotiations on Afghanistan issues [with America] and asked to be allowed to repeat the experience of Afghanistan's cooperation in the case of Iraq.  By fixing weaknesses.  In the case of India, they plan to follow up on gas sales and technical and military cooperation.

Mr. [Mohammed Reza] Rahimi, the former governor of Kurdistan, came. He said, with the help of internal security, the car was identified and hit, and in contrast to my surprise in this cooperation, he said that after the explosion of the warship Kool, Yemen was suspected by the United States and there was a risk of an attack on Yemen that such cooperation took place.

Mr. Vaezi and Mr. Jafari came for consultation;  They talked about traveling to Sarkhes and meeting Mr. [Safar Murad] Niyazov, [President of Turkmenistan] who is coming there because of my presence. Mr. Jafari said that he went to meet him with Mr. [Kamal] Kharazi, [Minister of Foreign Affairs].  While honoring his relationship with me, he also said that an old friend is better than a few new friends, in response to Mr. Kharazi's request to come to Tehran to meet with Mr. Khatami, [President].  He expressed his readiness to meet with me to solve the problems of building the Doushi [border] dam.

In the city of Zahedan, five sound bombs exploded and caused damage.  

In Tel Aviv, in a martyrdom operation, 20 Israelis were killed and many were injured.  British and American planes have increased their attacks on Iraqi ground targets.
