Foreign Minister Kharazi said that our serious problem with America and the West will be over the issue of nuclear technology.  He suggested that we should be transparent and honest, I said, on the condition that they also comply with international agreements, based on cooperation in the direction of peaceful use. Motammadi, the Minister of Communications, regarding the broadcast of jamming waves to interrupt anti-revolutionary satellite TV programs, said that these waves are harmful to health.

[Mr. Kamal Kharazi], the Minister of Foreign Affairs, came and said, in a meeting with the Prime Minister of England - [Tony] Blair - he said about Iraq that if Saddam [Hussein, the President] leaves, or honestly loses his weapons of mass destruction, there is no insistence on war, and he said, Naji Sabri, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq, brought Saddam's message to Mr. Khatami, [the President] and said, the answer to Iran's proposal  Regarding the payment of war compensation by handing over the oil tanks, he said, our serious problem with America and the West will be over the issue of nuclear technology.  He suggested that we deal transparently and honestly and decide that it should be within the scope of peaceful uses and sign the additional [protocol] 93+2 and accept the presence of [inspectors] of the Nuclear Energy Agency in all sectors. 
Dr. [Ahmed] Motamedi, the Minister of Posts, Telegraphs and Telephones, came. He gave a report on the status of landlines, cell phones, internet, satellite, fiber optics and future plans, and he made suggestions for the general policies of the communications sector, and he told the ways to control moral corruption on the internet.  Regarding the work that is now being counter-revolutionary by broadcasting jamming waves to interrupt satellite television programs, he said that these waves are harmful to health.  
In the evening, Mr. [Nasrullah] Jahangard, Deputy Minister of [Posts, Telegraphs and Telephones] came and gave a report on IT developments and made suggestions for the country's strategic plans.  
In America, fearing terrorist actions, the security situation has been declared orange, and they have launched a lot of propaganda against Ansar al-Salam, who are based in Khurmal Kurdistan region of Iraq, as al-Qaeda's collaborators.  The presidents of five Arab countries, Egypt, Libya, Syria, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, are having a meeting in Egypt regarding the Iraq issue.  
Turkey has asked NATO to support that country against the possibility of a war with Iraq, but with the opposition of Germany, Belgium and France, this request was not given a positive answer.  Again, citing Article 4 of the NATO Law, he requested an emergency meeting;  America also supported it.  And he didn't get anything in this meeting that made America angry.
