Mr. Hedayat [Lotafian] informed from Hamza camp that they have stopped the continuation of Karbala II operation and asked for it to continue. I stayed in the public meeting until half past ten in the morning.

In the afternoon, the national defense headquarters came. They claimed that the Iraqi planes used the territory of Kuwait and some other countries south of the Persian Gulf to hit Lawan, Siri and Al-Amia, but they did not have enough evidence. Considering their other aid to Iraq, I strongly suspect that their story is true, but it cannot be proven. It was decided to put pressure on them by countering and doing other harmful things, and the commander of the naval force was assigned to do this.

In the afternoon, the representatives of Gilan province came and complained about their governor and the interior minister who did not dismiss him. They are also dissatisfied with the action of their Friday imam in rice control. In the evening, Mr. [Mohammed Ali] Nazaran [the head of the administration of Iraqi prisoners of war in Iran] came. He said something about the prisoners and the Red Cross organization. The Red Cross is supposed to be reactivated. The IRGC wants to use Taib's prisoners in the war. There were 165 of them in the Karbala operation and they fought well.

The oil minister came and told about the problems of oil export. The ships are not ready to go to Khark. It was reported that the exploitation of Qom gas has started and one million meters of gas goes to the consumption pipes every day. The gas is sweet.

The members of the committee for organizing the war week came and told their plan. I spoke for them. I gave a speech to the Badr Brigade [Mujahideen] of Iraq who came from Haj Imran region. Metro officials came. They reported the start of the work and told the needs. I was happy

The officials of the Karbala operation came three times. They reported the work and discussed the weak and strong points of the work. Together with them, we participated in the meeting of the heads of forces at Mr. Mousavi Ardabili's house. There they gave a full report of the operation. It turned out that it is difficult to protect the docks against air bombardment. I came to the parliament to sleep.
