In the evening, I went to the Esteghlal Hotel for the opening of the Islamic Unity Conference, which was organized by the Al-Taqrib [Islamic Religions] Assembly. The Qur'an and Tawashih were performed and after the welcome by Mr. [Mohammed] Waezzadeh, I gave a speech about unity.
I returned home. At night, we had dinner with Yasir. Efat had gone to participate in the marriage ceremony of Dr. Rouhani's daughter. Mohsen said that the work of setting up my library is over.
The news was received that Mr. [Syed Abu Talib] Mahmoudi Golpaygani, the imam of Juma Arak, had an accident on the way to Tehran and passed away. I was impressed.
