Members of the Academy of Medical Sciences and distinguished medical students came. Dr. [Iraj] Fadel gave explanations and I gave them an encouraging speech. Mr. Dr. [Reza] Malekzadeh, [Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education] came and reported the issues and needs of the ministry.

Mr. [Hamid] Mirzadeh came. The report of Kish Azad region gave the reconstruction, the decisions after the trip to Zanjan and Hamadan and the letters of the people. Mr. [Syed Mansour] Razavi, [Secretary General of Administrative and Employment Affairs Organization] came. He explained the axes of administrative reforms and the evaluation program of facilities and achievements of the institutions and encouraging the more successful ones.

I was supposed to have a trip to Semnan next week, which I delayed due to the unpreparedness of the schedule. In the evening, in the meeting of the government board, the issue of the price of chicken, as well as the retirement of teachers with 30 years of service and the reconstruction [of war-torn areas], were discussed and decided. The issue of Abu Musa Island was also investigated.

I worked until eight in the evening and came home. Efat had gone to investigate and help the family of a veteran who was evicted from his apartment, according to the newspapers.
