I woke up at half past one in the morning with the phone call of Mr. Mohsen Rezaei from the southern front. He said that seven missile-launching frigates of the enemy have passed Khor Abdullah, and there is a possibility of a heavy conflict in Al-Bakr and Al-Amiya area, and he asked for help. I told Colonel Tarabi to tell the air and sea forces of the army to help.

I told Colonel Tarabi to tell the air and sea forces of the army to help.

The Karbala operation has been halted. Mr. [Mahmoud] Kaveh, the commander of the Martyrs Special Brigade, has been martyred. He was repeatedly injured. He was very brave and selfless and would face danger.

I had frequent calls with the commanders of the forces and the headquarters to support the defense forces of Al-Amiya Wharf. Iraqis have also attached great importance to the issue. They have sent Uza frigates to al-Bakr with great risk. There are regular reports of heavy air pressure against the forces stationed in Al-Amia. An interesting movie was broadcast last night.

Mr. Ahmad Agha came to the parliament and we discussed dealing with the Soviet ship. Like Mr. Mousavi Ardabili and the Prime Minister, he was against it. Later on the phone, he said that even the imam does not know the expediency.

Mr. Mahluji came and complained about the pressure of the ministers of the country and education on the governor and education managers of Kashan. Mr. Amrollahi came and complained about the budget for Bushehr desalination plant. On the evening of Farhad Ghasemi's wedding, I tied the knot and gave a gift.

The presiding committee of the parliament had a meeting. On the first night, Mr. Kongerlo and Dr. Hadi came to talk about pursuing negotiations for the issue of American hostages and how to provide for military needs. They have been given responsibility by the heads of the three powers.

At night, Mr. Mousavi Ardabili and the Prime Minister were my guests in the parliament. It turned out that the IRGC forces had retreated from Al-Amiya due to the air pressure, giving about eighty martyrs.

Mr. [Jalaluddin] Taheri Esfahani from the front complained on the phone about the poor cooperation of the naval and air forces of the army. One of our F-14 planes was shot down by our own defense in Gore, which is a major loss.

Mr. Sheikh al-Islam [Political Deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs] came and gave a report on the latest status of negotiations with the Russians regarding the seized ship. It was decided to release the ship and if we can, bring something to its cargo in Kuwait. I slept in the parliament at night.
