I studied at home until the evening. Before noon, Ahmad Agha came and consulted about the Imam's answer to King Fahd's verbal message. Amendments were made in the proposed text. It was based on several points: 1- Iran's lack of danger to its neighbors 2- The desire for unity and cohesion of Islamic forces 3- The need to cooperate on the oil issue and not to act in the direction of serving the West 4- Stopping Saudi aid to Iraq 5- Cooperation in the fight against Israel 6- Our unwillingness to close the Strait of Hormuz; We will close only if forced. 7- If you do not help Iraq, it cannot threaten our interests in the Persian Gulf so that we are forced to close the Strait of Hormuz.
In the evening, we had a meeting with the members of the parliamentary party center to discuss the impeachment of Mr. Natiq [Noori]. We wanted to get a vote from the center that the parties do not have the right to oppose Mr. Natiq Nouri, but in practice it was not possible and we did not get a vote. The continuation of the meeting was postponed until tomorrow. I stayed the night in the parliament. I did the work. I read the reports. I watched a video of the TV shows the Iraqis had sent. They have given many heroic performances in the war, with many claims that have become scandalous today. We were supposed to have an operation, but it didn't happen. I spoke with Dr. Velayati [Foreign Affairs Minister] that the resolution of the UN Security Council regarding the ceasefire in the Persian Gulf should not be strongly opposed and that the way be open for acceptance.
