In the evening, the board of directors [Islamic Council] had a meeting. As usual, we had many issues on our agenda. At night, we were guests of Ayatollah [Mousavi] Ardabili [Head of the Judiciary] with other officials. They talked about my trip to Libya and probably to East Germany, and the need to take advantage of the conflict and competition between the two blocs, East and West, and the interference of the limits and rights of the Ministry of Intelligence, the State and the judiciary in security matters.
