I arrived at the parliament at six in the morning. There was nothing important in the reports and the public meeting went as usual. At noon, [the community members] of the fighting clergy of Mashhad came. They had questions about the country's economic situation, war, Hizb [Islamic Republic], disputes, Hezbollah and other matters, and I gave explanations.

I had many references from representatives.

In the evening, the [Supreme] Council of the Cultural Revolution had a meeting. The discussion was about the management of Tehran University, the Islamic face of universities and the interaction of the university's Hezbollah with administrators and regulations. A letter was received from Mr. Sayad [Shirazi] that has delayed the operation for a few days. I spoke with Mohsen Rezaei and Sayad. The lack of IRGC forces and some of the work tools is one of the delay factors, and through Mr. [Ayatollah] Khamenei, the air force was ordered to cooperate more with the ground force in terms of air defense and support. Decisions were made about our trip to Libya to choose our companions and other issues.

At night, I went to the Majlis for sleep and dinner. I did the administrative work of the parliament. Under the Guardian Council's letter about the goods distribution bill, I wrote an article that will probably be controversial, but there is no other way. It seems that it is beyond their duties.
