I went to my office at seven-thirty and worked until nine in the morning. I went to the University of Tehran; I gave a speech at the seminar on the anniversary of Ayatollah Motahhari's martyrdom and answered students' questions. Until noon, I read the rest of the travel report days.

In the afternoon, Mr. [Mostafa] Pourmohammadi came from the Ministry of Intelligence and gave a report on the possibility of a coup in Iraq and introduced the lead, who had approached us to seek our opinion. I said he should gather more information.

I attended the cabinet meeting. At night I was a guest of the leadership. We discussed special purchases from North Korea, local council elections, the Attorney General, new members of the Expediency Discernment Council, his surgery, and the country's economic issues, among other things. I arrived home late.
