Full text of the diary:

I went to the University of Tehran for Friday prayers. I gave a sermon on fanaticism and rationality and a sermon on the issues of the day. After the prayers, I attended the funeral of a group of martyrs of the Holy Defense, whose bodies were recently found, and today 500 bodies were buried in 40 cities. The rest of the time was spent studying and resting.
On the occasion of World Press Day, in an exhibition in Paris, Ayatollah Khamenei was introduced as the record holder of the suppression of the press and has launched extensive propaganda against 36 countries. At the International Book Fair of Iran, the masters of the press have also made harsh remarks.

Today, the Israeli army occupied the city of Nablus and withdrew under pressure from the people of the city. An Israeli officer and two soldiers were killed. Two Palestinians were also martyred. The United States, Russia, the United Nations and the European Union announced that an international conference on the question of Palestine would be held in the summer, and Israel and [Yasser] Arafat agreed.
In Afghanistan, clashes between the forces of [Abdul Rashid] Dostum, [leader of the National Islamic Movement], and Atta Mohammad [Noorzada, the governor of Balkh] in the north, have resulted in many casualties and increased clashes in the east. The U.S. base was hit only by a missile, and [Hamid Karzai], [the head of the interim government], expressed his disappointment and talked about his resignation. In order to strengthen Karzai, George W. Bush has called Karzai and ordered the normalization of trade relations with Afghanistan. German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder has announced that he will visit Afghanistan next week.
The United States announced that it could not confirm the validity of Pakistan's referendum [to extend the term of President Pervez Musharraf]. An Indian MiG-21 plane crashed into a building, killing a large number of people, and India banned all aircraft of this type.

In the Philippines, there are many clashes with separatists with the help of American forces, and government centers are also attacked.  The European Union has officially announced that the military wing of the MEK [= MEK] is considered a terrorist, such as the PKK [= Kurdistan Workers' Party (Turkey)].
