After praying and listening to the news and reading the reports, we had breakfast with the children. I went to the public session of the parliament. Before the order, I spoke a few words about the five-year development plan. I stayed in the meeting until noon.

At noon, the representative of Mahabad came. He sought help for the problems of Kurdistan and complained about the great Islamic center [in the west of the country] and expressed his loyalty to the system and readiness to sacrifice. In the evening, Mr. [Javad] Turkabadi, our Kardarman came to Kuwait. He has just been appointed and is about to consult on his plans for admiration and relationship development.

Mr. [Bahram] Taj Gerdon, the representative of [Gachsaran] Kekhiloye and Boyer Ahmed came. He appealed for the appointment of the Friday imam and the governor, who have both left. He complained about the deputy governor of the provincial army and said about the need to appoint a strong manager in charge of oil in the southern region. Mr. [Arslan] Safai, the representative of Bakhtran [= Kermanshah], came, demanded more importance to be given to the local forces there and complained about the Isfahani rule in the province. He demanded to return the name of Kermanshah instead of Bakhtran and recommended kindness to the Kurds.

Mr. [Mohammad Hossein] Jahangiri, the representative of Qasr Shirin, came. He said the need to speed up the reconstruction, pay attention to the western region and encourage the people there. Mr. [Abdulaziz] Dadgar, representative of Chabahar, came. He appealed for help to Kaparneshin neighborhood and told about the development of banana and melon plantations, barge making and fishing in the area and requested my trip there. Mr. [Ane Mohammad Kouse] Gharavi, representative of Gonbad [in the second term of parliament], came and said about the weakness of the management in Mes Sarcheshme. I worked in my office until nine o'clock at night and came home.
