First of all, they announced that another missile was hit in the strategic and sensitive military areas of Baghdad. Mr. Ahmad said on the phone; Foreign news agencies have said that today the missile hit the industrial and oil center of "Al-Dura" in Baghdad; It is important. He said that Mustafa is the son of Mr. [Ayatollah] Khamenei who was in the front, there is no information about him. I asked the air force commander about the news of the downing of an Iraqi plane near Tehran and Isfahan. Finally, it turned out that Mustafa is safe and has returned to Tehran.
It was decided that we will have a meeting at night to amend the budget bill and obtain the opinions of the Guardian Council. I went to the parliament, but because the Guardian Council's opinion arrived late, the meeting was postponed until tomorrow. Mr. Ahmad also came with me. On the way, we visited Mr. Rabbani [Amleshi] in the hospital. Their condition has improved and they think that they will be cured.
Mr. Sayad and Mohsen Rezaei came from the front and reported the operation. Again, they have disagreed [about operations on the fronts]. The low success of the Badr operation and frequent delays are the result of the disagreement of the commanders.
At night, a meeting was held in the president's office for the operation. We confirmed Sayad's opinion and gave him the authority to implement his proposal. Mr. Rezaei was upset. I went to the assembly to sleep.
