With this hostile policy that France has with us, what do you expect us to interfere in a matter that does not concern us? The French fell into a crisis. Their interior minister resigned and it seems that the hostage crisis in Lebanon following the deportation of two Iraqis will cause the socialists to suffer a severe defeat in next week's elections.

I went to the assembly in the evening. Mr. Mohsen Rezaei came. He presented a plan for a limited attack on the Darbandikhan dam in order to ignore the pressure on them to continue operations in the Bowarin region. In the meeting of the presiding committee of the parliament, the schedule for the next week and the holiday of Eid [Nowruz] was determined. The headquarters of Khatam al-Anbia camp had a meeting. We heard the report of the battlefields. We could not make a decision to further strengthen the forces in Sulaymaniyah. The army did not change its real policy. The problem is the lack of coordination between the IRGC and the army. Both make decisions alone and the efficiency of the headquarters decreases.

At night, we were the guests of Ayatollah [Mousavi] Ardabili. The oil minister discussed our positions in OPEC. We decided to stay firm on the price. The Prime Minister did not attend due to boredom. I arrived home late. Kongerlo informed that the American mediator will come to Tehran tomorrow.
