We prayed the morning prayer and slept. I woke up at seven in the morning. I got the local and foreign news and did some reading until the others came for breakfast.
Mr. [Mohammed [Baghri] in charge of intelligence of IRGC ground forces[,] Asghar [Moghadam and Ahmad Kazemi] commander of the 8th Najaf Division] came. They gave explanations about the plan of future operations and the general situation of the defense lines and the enemy. Mr. Kazemi had flocks of top commanders of the IRGC.
At noon, Mr. Mohsen Rezaei came. He had participated in the maneuver. He explained further. There is not enough force for the desired operation, but the time is right. They should not wait for more force. The main problem at the moment is power.
In the evening, a group of military commanders came. They complained about the past changing policy of the IRGC, which sometimes gave tanks to infantry units and sometimes to independent armored units, and demanded the strengthening of armored units and combat concentration.
At night, Mr. [Feridon] Mahdinejad came. He gave a report on the situation of Lebanon, Hezbollah and Amal and consulted. Mr. Shamkhani came. He gave a report on the situation of the northern front. We need more power. At the end of the night, we talked with Mr. Mohsen Rezaei about the future of war and the needs and possibilities.
