We said that the war will not end without securing Iran's rights, and their opinion that Saddam will be overthrown when the war ends is not true, but they make him an Arab hero through propaganda.

[Members] of the Supreme Council of [Economic Cooperation Organization] ECO, came to meet. They had nothing important to say and the meeting was held with compliments. We had a meeting with the presence of Mr. Rouhani, Ray Shahri, Younesi, Safai and Mohammadi in the presence of Mr. Khamenei. The discussion was about the political ideological weaknesses of the army and the incompetence of some people. Inaccuracy in the way of dealing, administrative and formalization of clerics, appearing next to the command and pretending to power and glory were considered as negative points.
