I reached the parliament at a quarter past six. In the public meeting, before the order, I spoke briefly about Operation Nasr 4 and the Security Council and the martyrdom of Imam Sadiq (a.s.) and the martyrdom of [Dr. Mustafa] Chamran.

I came to my office at half past nine. Mr. [Ebrahim] Sanjaghi came. He reported the situation of the front. Mr. [Ferydoun] Mahdinejad came with the central delegation of one of the Lebanese mujahid groups. They gave a report of their situation and told interesting examples of unseen aid in their operations. I gave them two thousand dollars in money and five and a half Bahar Azadi coins.

In the afternoon, Mr. [Asghar] Ebrahimi, the head of the Tehran subway, came. He reported the progress of the work and the needs and announced the readiness to build the tunnel under Karun. In the evening, I went to the meeting of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution. Islamicizing the face of universities was discussed. Mehdi came and asked for money for a CT scan. While climbing, he was thrown from the mountain and it was said that three vertebrae in his back were cracked.

The night [meeting] of the council [community] of militant clergy [Tehran] was in my office. Baha'is were discussed. It seemed that it would be good if we have a policy regarding them as follows: 1- Do not register their name as Bahá'í in official documents and leave the place of religion blank in the relevant column. 2- To give them the right to use the normal gifts of social life. 3- Do not enter government jobs and other important positions. 4- If they want to go abroad, let them go.

On the front, we have had sporadic clashes. I slept in the parliament at night.
