First of all, we negotiated with Mr. [Ayatollah] Khamenei about appointing the commander of the ground forces and firing missiles at Baghdad. I stayed at the public meeting until half past ten. A conflict arose in the talks before Mr. [Mortaza] Razavi's [Tabriz representative] order. It was reported that Iraq bombarded the city of Arak

Iraq has bombed the city of Arak. I spoke briefly about countering the evils of Saddam. I spoke for a group of members of Jundullah Kurdistan.
A group of Basij sisters came to Migdad base and brought gifts for the war. They said that women were very welcome for military training and asked for help for educational facilities. Mr. Hosni Saadi came and I negotiated with him about the responsibility of commanding the ground forces and war plans.
Mr. [Jamal] Sadatian Kardarman came to London and presented the plan for the gradual development of relations with England and asked for help to approve it. Mr. [Syed Hossein] Mousavian came for administrative work. Mr. [Mohammed Ali] Rahmani, who is in charge of the Basij, came and discussed the operations inside Iraq and the mobilization of forces.
In the evening [Mr. Mohammadi Ray Shahri], the Minister of Information and the deputy and general managers came and presented the needs and problems. I spoke for them. Mr. Colonel Sayad came and consulted for future tasks. We discussed his mistake in resigning in the past and the future plan. He hopes to command the ground forces. Even though he himself resigned, I also want to stay and I tried hard to resolve their differences, but it didn't work.
I did not participate in the meeting of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution and the Fighting Clergy Society in order to do the current work. At night Mr. Rafiq Dost came and took the signature of receiving four billion tomans for war expenses through borrowing [from the banking system].
