Mr. [Javad] Aje came. It was suggested that if there is a desire to replace the Ministers of the Interior and Science and Health, Mr. [Mohammed] Jahrami and [Syed Morteza] Saqaiannejad should be used, respectively. He applied for the purchase of a center for Islamic students abroad.

The commanders of Naja [= police force] came. Timsar [Reza] Saifullahi reported and I spoke for them. Mr. [Syed Mahdi] Yathrabi, the imam of Friday came to Kashan. He gave a report on the situation in Kashan and the religious schools, and requested for the construction of the Kashan Shrine in Mashhad, and requested to keep [his nephew] Mr. Mahloji in the Ministry of Mines and Metals. He had brought some Kashan perfume.

At the end of the mission, the Qatari ambassador came to say goodbye. Mr. [Abulfazl] Tawakli Bina, [president's advisor on trade union affairs] came. He had questions about the state of bread and the cabinet. He asked for permission to give Helgerd's land to the charity of disabled people in Kahrizak.

In the evening Mr. Dr. Rouhani, [Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council] came. We negotiated about the cabinet and it was left unfinished. At five o'clock we went to the Azadi Stadium for the opening of the cultural-sports Olympiad of the students of 57 universities of the country. The gathering was magnificent and the ceremony was cool. I gave a short speech and stayed for the whole program. The last show was more interesting. I reached home in the evening.

Mr. Dr. [Mohammed Ali] Najafi, [Minister of Education], before going to the stadium, informed that the Iranian math team in the Math Olympiad in Turkey has reached the sixth place among 73 countries, while the United States was the seventh. Becoming the world champion of the Iranian freestyle wrestling team in the world championships in Greece is another happy news of our day.
