Usually on Thursdays, I went to the headquarters [of the General Forces]. I didn't go today because of the agenda of the private meeting of the parliament, and the private meeting was also canceled due to the disruption of Resalat newspaper. I went to my office at half past nine. I read the reports until noon.

In the afternoon, Mr. [Syed Mansour] Razavi, the head of the administrative and recruitment organization, came. He explained about the administrative organization reform plans and asked for support for the merger of some ministries, including the ministries of industries and mines, Jihad and agriculture, IRGC and defense, etc.

In the evening Mr. Golpaygani, our ambassador in Hungary came. He gave a report on the situation there and expected a trip to that country and consulted on the level of relations. Mr. [Syed Abdallah] Shirazi, Imam of Juma, came to Mashhad; He advised regarding reforming the judicial system and strengthening Ayatollah Montazeri and maintaining unity.

Mr. [Mohammed Sadiq] Khalkhali came. He asked about the expenses of the parliamentary delegation's trip to Libya. Mr. [Ishaq] Jahangiri [Jiroft representative] came from the Program and Budget Commission. He asked about the deduction of five billion tomans from defense appropriations in the budget amendment. I worked in my office until half past eight and came home.
