I arrived at the [Armed Forces General Command] headquarters at half past nine in the morning. Mr. [Ali] Shahbazi came. He gave comments about the affairs of the army. Mr. [Mohammed] Faruzandeh came. He asked about the location of the engineering command and credits. I told him to study to build a pier in Bahman Shir beach. Mr. [Ali] Fallahian came. He gave a report about Sased [= Defense Industries Organization] purchases and military industry facilities. The eight-member delegation consisting of the commanders of three army forces, the Minister of Defense, the deputy chief of staff, the head of the judicial organization, and the head of political ideology came. They talked about the affairs of the army and the issue of integration and other issues. They demanded a regular meeting with me and the formation of a command advisory group in the application of Article 199. In the afternoon, Mr. Safai [Chairman], a political thinker, came and criticized the General Staff and the IRGC for supporting the army. In the evening, Mr. Sanjaghi came and emphasized on speeding up the reform of the IRGC organization. Mohsen came with a group of IRGC military industry managers. They gave explanations and demanded financial assistance, legal privileges and political support. on missile and defense industries related to Sh. M. R [= chemical, missile, radioactive] I emphasized. I did the work until half past seven. I came home I was too late at the traffic jam. I watched a movie called "A Man for Life" on TV.
