I went to my office at noon. Dr. Rouhani came and talked about arms purchases. In the evening Mr. [Manochehr] Mutaki, our ambassador in Türkiye, came. He reported about the relations and the recent issue of the Ministry of Information regarding hypocrisy and the agents getting stuck in Türkiye. He brought the reporter of Sabah [Türkiye] newspaper. I did a short interview with him because of the good effort he made in covering the news of the Halabja tragedy and for taking a good photo - the photo of the year.

A group of members of the [Islamic Republic] party came to Isfahan. They had questions about the current and future issues of the party. Timsar Sattari [Army Air Force Commander] came. At night, we had a meeting with the clerics. I arrived home at nine o'clock at night. Efta and Fati had gone to the seminar meeting of Afghans in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
