I arrived at the parliament at nine o'clock in the morning. North Korea's deputy defense minister came. He demanded the implementation of arms purchase contracts before the ceasefire. We have stopped them. They claim that they bought the raw materials and made some of them. We decided to bring a part and turn a part into technology transfer.

The commanders of the 17th division of Ali Ibn Abi Talib (a.s.) came. They asked for help to pay the share of the 71st Arak division in the joint barracks in Andimeshk and asked for sending the wounded abroad. Mr. [Hossein] Mahdian came. He suggested that Mr. [Mohammad Taqi] Falsafi come to visit the house. Mr. Rafiq Dost came and reported on the IRGC industries and the situation of the fronts and the house building project for the IRGC [in Shahid Mahalati settlement]. At noon, Mr. Hashemi, the former representative of Eliguders, came. In order to stay in the [organizational] house of the Majlis until the end of the school year, he applied for other problems in his life.

In the evening, the radio managers came. I talked to them about improving the work of the radio and the issues related to music and the way of criticism, etc.

Officials of Afghanistan's eight-member coalition came. They gave a full report about the negotiations with the seven-party alliance and their violation of appointments under the pressure of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, and consulted for the future, and provided financial and arms assistance, and requested a meeting with the Imam.

Mr. [Mohammed Ali] Hadi [Najafabadi] and [Seyd Kamal] Kharazi and [Hossein] Kazempour [Ardebili] came. It was discussed about the restoration of relations with Saudi Arabia and help in trading hostages with the United States and the method of propaganda in front of the Europeans in the case of Salman Rushdie. In the evening, the Expediency Council had a meeting. There was a discussion about the responsibility of implementing government punishments and amending the resolutions. Ayatollah Khamenei returned from his trip [six days to Yugoslavia and Romania], but did not participate in the meeting due to fatigue. I came home late.
