I worked in my office until eight in the morning. We had a public meeting. Due to the density of bills, we have decided to hold public meetings four days during the week. There were new ministers. There were many objections. I also defended them. Mr. [Abbas Ali] Zali and [Hossein] Nili voted for the Ministries of Agriculture, Mines and Metals, but Mr. [Mohammed] Marwat did not vote for the Ministry of Housing [and Urban Development].

I had several meetings in my office at noon. In the evening, the board of directors had a meeting. At night, I did office work. At night, we were the guests of [Ayatollah] Mr. Khamenei with the military leaders. We had a weekly meeting. Negotiations and decisions were made about the agricultural councils, the past contracts of the banks before the usury elimination law, mass trials, war, new ministers for information, Jihad [construction] and housing [and urban development], etc. I came home late.
