Although it was a public holiday [due to the anniversary of the death of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)], I went out to do the necessary work. Early in the morning, in [Ayatollah] Mr. Khamenei's office, we had a meeting with the commanders of the IRGC and ground forces to coordinate and resolve differences for future operations; The meeting was successful. But it is not true that all that energy and time should be consumed for each case in order to resolve the dispute. Then, until four o'clock in the afternoon, in my office in the parliament, a meeting was held to revise the positions of the [Islamic Republic] party, but the work was still not finished and it was postponed to another meeting.

It was a meeting of the Central Council of the [Islamic] Republican Party, which was not official, but unofficial things were done. It was reported that a hijacker wanted to take the plane going from Bushehr to Shiraz to Saudi Arabia. A female flight attendant attacked him to disarm him, the grenade exploded and both were injured, and the plane went to Shiraz safely. The hijacker had an Iraqi passport and was Iranian himself.

The Americans have attacked the Muslim people of Lebanon with twenty-four planes, which is a development in the issue of Lebanon and Israel. The Syrians shot down three of their planes. We have to wait for the next important events. At night, we had a more private meeting in [Ayatollah] Mr. Khamenei's office and discussed issues related to the party, parliament and administrations.
