Durood's representative informed about Durood's Hizbullah demonstrations against Mr. Mahmoudi, Imam of Durood's Juma - who is close to Ayatollah Golpayegani. Some people have been arrested on the charge of directing the demonstration.

At noon, Mr. [Gholamreza] Soltani and Mr. [Hossein] Sobhani Nia, representatives of Karaj and Neishabur, came to my office and talked about the differences in the party [Islamic Republic] and Majlis [Islamic Council] and... Mr. [Ayatollah] Khamenei and I emphasized the need for vigilance and impartiality. Mr. Latif Safari, the representative of West Islamabad, came and complained to Mr. Mohdi Qommi, the Friday imam and the Sharia ruler of that city, and talked about the existence of two lines in the clergy and sought a solution.

In the evening, I attended the meeting of the [central] council of the party. Most of the time of the meeting was taken up by the issue of Darud city and the solution of such issues related to the party and the differences between the Ministry of Commerce and the members of the union committee.

We had a meeting with Mr. [Ayatollah] Khamenei and Mr. [Vaez] Tabasi. I came home late. They brought reports that Iraq had carried out several airstrikes on the city of Bostan and around Sosangard, and [in this incident] some people were martyred and injured.
