I went to the president's office early in the morning. We had a meeting with the presence of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Oil. We approved the proposal of OPEC members [about the price and quantity of oil sales]. We decided to be firm to maintain the price of oil.

Then, Dr. Velayati came. He gave a detailed report on the conference of [ministers of] Islamic countries in Sanaa [Yemen's capital] and that it had many successes and the proposals included in the resolution stopped the movements of our opponents. The president of North Yemen has met with him twice and asked to praise the relations with Iran and asked for our help in oil exploration in Yemen - which is opposed by Saudi Arabia. We also talked with the president about the Ministry of Defense and the [Islamic Republic] party and the headquarters of the congress.

I went to the parliament at half past ten in the morning. Due to the non-arrival of members of the Guardian Council and the urgency of the order, the parliament was closed after the breathing time.

I worked in the office until late. Two people from the Bakhtran Army and Air Force came; They claimed military inventions such as naval mines, rockets, fireproof and [anti-]chemical clothing, etc., and complained about the lack of cooperation of the IRGC. I told Mr. [Mohsen] Rafiq Dost and [Hasan] Rouhani to handle their work.

Mrs. [Maryam] Behrouzi came. He complained about Mrs. [Gohar al-Shari'a] Dastghib ​​[Tehran's representative] for opposing the [Islamic Republic] party and the Prime Minister's information. Two or three soldiers came. They were complaining about the condition of the army, front and society. They reported that one of the Majlis [Islamic Council] drivers who did not pay attention to the police stop last night [and was shot by the police officers], was shot and died. Mr. Rouhani and Rafiq Dost came. We discussed about the operations [future on the fronts].
