It was reported that one of our planes with 190 passengers was hijacked on the Shiraz-Tehran route and went to Iraq and landed in Baghdad. Probably, the [aircraft] hijackers have coordinated with Iraq in advance. The IRGC and the director of the airline company were protested as to why they did not implement the decision to put a [security] officer on the plane.

Haj Ahmed Agha came and said that Mr. [Asadullah] Lajurdi had reached the Imam and complained that they wanted to take the prisons and information from him and declared a threat. But the imam emphasized that he should submit to the law and only have the responsibility of the prosecution [of the Tehran revolution] and hand over the prisons to the prison supervision council and hand over the [prosecution] information to the minister of information, but he left unsatisfied.

Mr. [Ayatollah] Khamenei spoke on the phone about the changes in the [Command] of the Army and the Minister of Defense. We decided to negotiate in person later.
