I went to visit Imam. I gave them the report of the preliminary agreement with Mr. Sayad [Shirazi] and [Mohsen] Rezaei regarding the management of the war; They agreed. There are ambiguities and shortcomings in the existing constitution due to the haste and lack of experience at that time. I also talked about the possibility of sedition and danger due to ideological differences in Islamic standards for the system in the future. In this case, it was decided to put the contents on paper.

[Mr. Mirhossein Mousavi] The Prime Minister informed by phone that he has ordered the rice plan to be reviewed. advised to appoint Mr. Daud Karimi as the deputy of military affairs of the army.

In the evening, Mr. Natiq Nouri [Minister of the Interior] came home. He complained about work problems, pressure from members of parliament, ambiguities in laws and responsibilities for maintaining security, country divisions, etc., and raised the possibility of resigning; I emphasized to them to stay and promised support and explained the necessity of fighting the problems.

Colonel [Mustafa] Tarabi [from the Imam's advisory office in the army] came. He brought a report on the bad situation of the naval force and made suggestions about the Ministry of Defense and the ground and naval forces and the headquarters [of the joint army of the Islamic Republic of Iran]. informed that a problem has arisen for a Panamanian oil ship in the Persian Gulf; Iraq has already hit a Cypriot ship.
