I delegated the Friday prayers to Ayatollah Emami Kashani. I went with the family members and the guards to Latian Dam; going by the Lashgarak route and returning by the Abali route. In the lake behind the dam, there was a peninsula-like promontory, where during the Shah's time they had built a good building, and after the Revolution until recently, it had been abandoned, with only a caretaker and two gardeners protecting it, and occasionally the Revolutionary Guards had used it for training. Recently, the Prime Minister's Office took it over and prepared it for entertaining guests; it has been relatively well maintained. We stayed there until the afternoon. Aqa Jalal made kebabs; they were not bad. Several families of deputy prime ministers had also come. In the afternoon, I visited the facilities of Latian Dam. It is the first time I have visited the facilities of a dam; I found it interesting. The engineers gave useful explanations about the overall condition of the dam, the turbines and gates, and the quality of the work. We returned home at night. The road was very crowded. The children were guests, and Fati and I stayed at home.
