I reached my office at half past eight in the morning. The work of the five days of my trip was accumulated, which took up most of today's time. I had a meeting with [Mr. Ahmad Hammoud Jabral al-Sabah and Badr Jassim Al-Yaqub], the Ministers of Interior and Intelligence of Kuwait. They brought a message of thanks from the Emir of Kuwait. They appealed for the removal of Saddam and the implementation of the decisions of the [UN] Security Council.

Dr. Habibi [first vice president] came for the current affairs of the country and to report on the affairs during the days of my trip. A group of freedmen came. Mr. [Ali Akbar] Abu Tarabi, [Representative of the legal guardian in the affairs of freedmen and [Abbasali] Vakili, [head of the headquarters for handling the affairs of freedmen] reported and I spoke in detail for them.

From noon to night, I did all the backlogged work and brought it up to date. They informed that the family would not come from Mashhad, so I did not come home at night and slept in my office.
