I went to the university to attend the Friday prayers. I had lunch alone. They brought me lunch from the Sepah Beit center. The weather was hot. In the afternoon, Ahmad Agha came.

I went to the university to attend Friday prayers. I was alone for lunch. They brought me lunch from the Sepah Central House. The weather was hot. In the afternoon, Ahmad Aqa came. He is ill. We talked about the proposal that had been made to the Imam regarding appointing Mr. Mahdavi-Kani as head of the Cultural Revolution Headquarters—along with the Ministry of Higher Education—and about IRIB and the war. Some of the time was spent writing the July 7 article [The Tale of Separation] and some was spent reading.
