Parliament's work today was difficult due to shortcomings in the committee's work regarding inviting the proposers, and flaws in the second bill concerning the failure to foresee a budget for implementing the plan.
After the session, Mr. Farajollah Vaezi, representative of Abhar, brought Mr. Mojtaba Golgirsaz and complained about the lack of cooperation from the IRGC (Sepah). This individual [Mojtaba Golgirsaz] had turned himself in a few days ago, [stating] that he was a member of a terrorist group named "Fada'iyan-e Imam Zaman" tasked with assassinating me. I referred him to the IRGC, but so far no progress has been made in identifying the group. I confronted him with the IRGC officers. In their view, he is not an honest person. It was agreed that they pursue him until the matter is clarified.
In the evening, IRGC and intelligence officials came to the house and provided information on counter-revolutionary activities. They were concerned about Mr. Eshraghi's mission regarding the reconciliation of the Kurds, as well as regarding Mr. Banisadr's and the Freedom Movement's ideas, counter-revolutionary movements in certain clerical circles, and the command problems of the IRGC in relation to Mr. Banisadr's [Commander-in-Chief] leadership.
