Memoirs of Akbar Hashemi – April 23, 1989

I reached the parliament at half past seven in the morning. In the reports, my disclosure about the efforts of the American spy network in Iran is still being considered, interpreted and analyzed. Mr. [Mohammed] Faruzandeh and [Morteza] the preacher came. A decision was made about the occupation of the IRGC for the improvement of the Zabul bridge, and the construction of a wharf on the Bahmanshir coast for Arvand's alternative and the duties of the combat engineering command were negotiated.

I had several phone discussions with Ahmad Agha about the text of the Imam's ruling regarding the amendment of the constitution. I came home after breaking the fast.
