At nine o'clock in the morning, we went to the place [conference hall of the organization] for the opening of the labor conference of the labor ministers of Asia and the Pacific countries. The Minister of Labor of China, the chairman of the former meeting, came to welcome us, and before the start, we had a brief discussion in the office of the CEO of Sedavasima. We went to the meeting and it opened with my speech. I gave a speech without a script, which surprised the audience. After the speech, I shook hands with each of the guests in the hall and greeted them and said welcome.

I went to my office and did the work until twelve o'clock. [Leaders of the right wing], Mr. [Ali Akbar] Natiq [Nuri], [Mohammed Reza] Bahnar, [Akbar] Parvesh and [Habibullah] Askarowaladi came. Discussions were held regarding the merger of some ministries and the future cabinet and elections. عصرهیأت دولت جلسه داشت. The regulations of the presidential election and the consumer protection bill were in the order, but both remained unfinished.

In the evening [Mr. Seyyed Hossein Marashi], the governor of Kerman came to follow up the work of the trip and also brought a message from an Egyptian private company about the benefits of government cooperation between Egypt and Iran. I gave a favorable answer and said that due to Egypt's high activity in the continuation of the Camp David [Treaty], we have problems with relations at the moment, but in the future it might be done. I considered the accusations of our cooperation with the opposition of the Egyptian regime, or the military presence in Sudan, to be baseless.
