Mr. [Mohsen] Rafiq Dost, [Chairman of the Mustafafan and Veterans Foundation] and [Syed Mohammad] Alizadeh, [Deputy of the Foundation] came. They explained the report of the house building and cement production programs and the import of meat and poultry and trade with the Islamic countries of the north and south and asked for help for loans and foreign exchange facilities.

Mr. [Hasan] Shafti, [CEO of Homa Airlines] came. He gave a report on the leasing of airplanes from Russia and the purchase of Airbus and Boeing airplanes, and consulted with Mr. Nooryan, [the head of the Civil Aviation Organization] to establish coordination. Dr. [Mohammed Ali] Najafi, [Minister of Education] came. He reported on his trip to Syria and expressed his satisfaction with the election results.

I told the Ministry of Interior to give a report on the Tehran elections at noon. Many people are upset with the delay of the report and because the extremists are unhappy with the results, the Ministry of Interior blames the delay on purpose. In the evening, I attended the meeting of the government board.

I was the guest of the leader. We discussed and made decisions about the effects of the elections and the politics of dealing with factions and other issues. Ayatollah Khamenei considers the results of the elections to be divine and beyond our planning.
