Full text of the diary:
Mr. [Mohammad-Ali] Shari'i, [the director of the Sisters' Seminaries], came with the directors of the Fatemieh University of Medicine in Qom. They explained the historical course of its establishment with the aim of adapting the medical system to Islam, and the sabotage of the Ministry of Health and the provocations of the 2nd of Khordad that led to the sit-in and opposition of the students were used to strengthen it. Now they have a hospital and about 1,000 female students. I said that if it is done with the axis of in-depth research that is appropriate to the mission of the seminary, it is good, and if it is only for medical education, it is what public universities do.
The representatives of the Armenian minorities of the country, Assyrians, Chaldeans, Jews, and Zoroastrians, came and thanked me for the assistance I had given to the minorities, and raised their problems on the issue of blood money and some confiscations.

In the evening, a group of people who had served to perform the Eid al-Fitr prayers came. Mr. [Javad] Maghsoudi, [the head of the Tehran Friday Prayer Headquarters], reported and I also spoke about the importance of the ceremony and the presence of people on the scene.
They said that Mr. Khatami had been scolded for the program of the University of Tehran and his speech, because it was a harmful program and the opponents of the regime were given a platform to express themselves unnecessarily, and Mr. Khatami's words contradicted the unity of the officials, which is one of the duties of the president. In addition, in the end, the creditor protesters and the indebted regime came to fruition, and they also expressed their displeasure with the Parliament's decisions regarding the IRIB and the jury, as well as the remarks made today by Mr. Behzad Nabavi [the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament] in the Majles and the mass seditions of the 2nd of Khordad (May 22nd).
They do not agree with the lifting of the siege of Ayatollah Montazeri and the pardon of Mr. Abdollah Nouri, without retracting the harmful words. I also criticized the Judiciary's carelessness in implementing the anti-corruption program and taking away the reputation of families such as Mr. [Ghorbanali] Dori [Najafabadi] and [Morteza] Moqtadaei.I said, "Since your opinion is presented as an implementation, you should supervise yourself so that there is no mismanagement."
Israeli soldiers have been attacked on the Jordanian border, and Israel has also invaded Jordanian territory. We discussed this issue and the Israeli pressure on the Palestinians and the possibility of an American attack on Iraq. They also have concerns and believe that we should think about containing the United States.

After all, Israel did not allow [Yasser] Arafat to attend the Christmas service in Bethlehem, and many blamed Israel for it. The tensions on the Indo-Pakistani border, verbal attacks on each other, and official threats are a cause for concern.
Today, Mr. [Hossein] Loghmanian, the representative of Hamedan, who was convicted [on charges of insulting and spreading lies], was taken to prison, and the parliament has been working hard and the presidium of the parliament has called for his immediate release.
