Inability to Attend the Martyrs of Dezful Congress Due to Heavy Snow and Closure of Mehrabad Airport in Tehran

Full Text of the Daily Notes:

Since last night, it has been snowing in Tehran and many other parts of the country. Consequently, Mehrabad Airport in Tehran was closed until the afternoon. I was scheduled to attend the inauguration of the Martyrs of Dezful Congress, but with the airport closed until the afternoon, it was not possible to fly. At the request of the Congress organizers, I sent a message expressing my regrets and suggested that instead, I would attend the upcoming congress for the martyrs of Khuzestan Province, which will take place in a few days. I hold great respect for the commendable resistance of the people of Dezful during the war.

I worked in my office until the evening. In Palestine, the Palestinian Authority has faced criticism from Hamas and others due to its poor stance regarding the killing of two Zionists, which is justified given the martyrdom of hundreds of Palestinians; this position is unwarranted.

In the Philippines, President Joseph Estrada resigned under pressure from the public, and his vice president, Gloria Arroyo, has become the president. In Congo, Laurent-Désiré Kabila was assassinated, and his son has taken over, leading to an escalation of the civil war. In Argentina, an explosion at the Al-Tawhid Mosque caused significant destruction, with Zionists being blamed for the attack. Interestingly, a copy of the Quran remained intact on a bookshelf, even though the other books were burned.
