Full Text of the Daily Entry:

I stayed at home. In the afternoon, I went to my office to pick up some reading material for my trip to Kish. Due to the holiday, the streets were quiet, and the commute took almost half the usual time.

I read part of the book The Principles of Freud’s Psychoanalysis. At the moment of the new year, we sat together at the Haft-Seen table with the children, recited prayers, and took a group photo in the yard. I handed out Nowruz gifts. In the evening, relatives came to visit for the holiday.

I listened to the Nowruz messages of the Supreme Leader and the President. The Leader named the coming year, following this year’s theme, "The Year of Ali (AS)" and emphasized "national strength" and "job creation" as the critical goals for the new year. In the past, he did not focus much on economic issues, but noticing the lack of economic activity after the reconstruction period, his attention has now shifted, and rightly so—this issue must indeed be a priority.

Political and cultural responsibilities have diverted the country’s managers from seriously addressing the economy and people’s livelihoods. Despite having over $10 billion in additional oil revenue, there is no visible effort to boost the economy.

In Lebanon, a group of students demonstrated in support of the continued presence of the Syrian army in Lebanon, in contrast to Christian students who had protested a few days ago, following the call of Michel Aoun [leader of the Free Patriotic Movement], against the Syrian army's presence. Today, in Lebanon’s parliament, both supporters and opponents of this issue spoke.

My brother Mahmoud called to inform me that Seyyed Mohammad Reza Esfahani, his father-in-law, is in his final moments. He requested my help in securing a grave in the shrine of Shah Abdul-Azim.

Yasser mentioned that a group of families of press and nationalist prisoners had set up a Haft-Seen table near Evin Prison, awaiting a gathering of people.

By the grace of God, I have successfully completed writing my memoirs for the year 1379, and from tomorrow, I will start writing for the calendar year 1380.
