In the morning, I went to participate in the demonstration supporting the Intifada in Palestine. I was in the crowd on part of Enqelab Street up to the University of Tehran. The people warmly expressed their feelings; as in usual demonstrations, the crowd was not very large, and the provinces had a better turnout than Tehran.

I brought many bulletins home for study. It occupied my time; among them was an important confidential document prepared by American experts regarding the damages of hostility towards Iran and the benefits of cooperation between the two countries for the U.S. government.

Mehdi, the CEO of the Organization for the Optimization of Fuel Consumption, discussed many topics regarding energy and oil and gas technologies; he mentioned that the delay in exporting gas from Iran to Turkey was due to Iran's delay in preparing the gas measurement center, which is supposed to be approved by one of the reputable companies in the world and has not yet been achieved. He also pointed out the significant damage caused by the production of low-quality Iranian cars, including high fuel consumption and environmental pollution. He is heading to Europe to visit the oil and gas research center regarding the technology for removing offshore oil rigs and taking the necessary facilities to the seabed and wellheads.

It was announced that 50 American and British fighter jets and support planes bombed some installations in southern Iraq. Iraq reported only one killed and 11 injured. In retaliation for yesterday’s bombing in Jerusalem, Israel occupied several offices of the Palestinian Authority and bombed the West Bank with F-16 aircraft.

In Macedonia, the civil war continues, negotiations have stalled, and talk of the country's disintegration is underway. Turkey has banned the Turkish section of the Deutsche Welle radio and BBC.

Sultan Ali Mohammadzadeh, the new gardener of the house, said he received his monthly salary, but he was robbed on the bus. I promised to compensate him.
