A detailed interview with the newspaper Hamshahri took place with the presence of the editors of the independent newspapers and Fath, aimed at clarifying the numerous ambiguities in the media atmosphere of that time regarding Hashemi's performance and character.

Mohammad Hashemi announced a seminar to clarify the era of reconstruction and respond to these ambiguities.

Sheikh Mostafa Pourmohammadi met with Hashemi and recounted his unemployment and lack of attention from institutions that Hashemi did not want to mention in detail after ending his collaboration as the Deputy for Foreign Intelligence at the Ministry of Intelligence, along with the surrounding issues regarding the chain murders and his own situation. Pourmohammadi expressed his appreciation to Hashemi for participating in the elections.

Later, Pourmohammadi was employed as one of the officials in the expert groups of the Leader's office and later became the Minister of Interior, Minister of Justice, and is currently the Secretary of the Combatant Clergy Association in Tehran. It should be noted that the Pourmohammadi family is one of the influential families from Rafsanjan, which I have addressed in previous writings.

Fatemeh, after weeks of hospitalization, went to her office today. Before noon, I had a detailed interview with Hamshahri newspaper. The editors of the independent newspapers and Fath also participated to assist in questioning. The interview lasted three hours, and I answered all their questions. They said their goal was to clarify the questions that arose due to the smear campaigns by opponents in recent months.

In the afternoon, my brother Mohammad [the Executive Deputy to the President] came. He said he plans to organize a seminar to clarify the effects of the reconstruction era and address the raised doubts. There is uncertainty about whether this will be organized by the agents of reconstruction or by the Strategic Research Center [of the Expediency Discernment Council].

Mr. Mostafa Pourmohammadi came. He is unemployed. He complained about not being invited to work by some institutions, including the Society of Teachers [of Qom Seminary], after leaving the Ministry of Intelligence. He also criticized how the issue of chain murders was handled by the Ministry of Intelligence and stated that genuine Islamic forces appreciate your participation in the elections, seeing it as sacrifice and dedication, and offered suggestions for future programs. [Mr. Hossein Pourmohammadi], his father, has had a brain tumor operation and was later hospitalized for prostate surgery.

In parliament today, we witnessed a new phenomenon. The leftist representatives left the session when the proposal for a one-stage election was put forward, thus rendering the session unofficial. This situation occurred once before during the first parliament; they had previously threatened to leave during discussions on press reform legislation. In any case, the issue has become politically heated and controversial.
