Complete Daily Entry:

In the morning, we went to Karaj. On the way, we encountered buses carrying spectators to the football match between Persepolis and Esteghlal, waving their flags excitedly and chanting slogans. At noon, we were at the garden of Mr. [Mohammad Reza] Nouri Shahroudi, located under the Karaj Dam; he purchased the garden years ago, and it is a beautiful place. I was accompanied by Efat, Mohsen, Saeed, and Ali. In the evening, we returned home, and I spent the rest of the night studying.

Mr. [Abdollah] Nouri, former Minister of Interior and Director of the newspaper Khordad, visited. He discussed prison conditions and his family. There was an agreement to reconsider his situation and at least convert his prison term to a semi-open facility. He mentioned that he does not oppose the system and does not want his imprisonment to undermine the regime. He criticized some sections of Ayatollah Montazeri's memoirs, claiming they were selectively compiled for specific purposes.

Today, at the end of the football match, players from both teams [Esteghlal and Persepolis] engaged in a physical altercation, leading to conflicts among the spectators as well. The fighting continued on the roads surrounding the stadium, causing serious damage to public vehicles and resulting in embarrassment for both teams. Over 100,000 spectators attended, causing a multi-hour traffic jam.
